Description
CCD's Holiday Race for Recovery 5K is a family-friendly walk/run that will be held on Sunday, December 1st (9am check-in;10am start time) in New Castle, DE. We hope you will join us and come walk/run through the beautiful streets of Historic New Castle to support a great cause!
Holiday attire is not required but is highly encouraged, so put on your favorite sparkly and jingly attire - ugly Christmas sweater, Santa hat, elf ears, and jingle bells! 'Tis the season to spread good cheer and be jolly for a reason! Bring a team of friends, family, and coworkers to run, walk, or volunteer...and be an ambassador of hope! 100% of the proceeds from this event will support CCD’s adult recovery and community outreach programs.

CCD's Holiday Race for Recovery 5K
Event proceeds will benefit CCD's adult recovery and community outreach programs. CCD's recovery program, formally known as the CARE (Community Advocacy Recovery Empowerment) Program, provides housing and case management to individuals as they navigate the challenges of recovering from a substance use disorder. CCD's CORE (Community Outreach, Response, & Engagement) Program provides community-based outreach services to individuals who have experienced health disparities related to race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, housing status, and substance use related stigmas.
