Event is cancelled due to COVID-19
HI Summer Solstice Runners,
Thank you for patiently waiting to hear from us on the outcome of the Summer Solstice Running Festival this year.
Even though the gathering bans are starting to get lifted, it still does not leave us in a good position to try and safely host this event this year.
For many reason we just do not feel it would be a great experience for the runners.
With that being said we have decided to cancel the Summer Solstice Running Festival for 2020.
Every participant will receive a 100% refund on their registration.
If you made a donation to one of the charities, that money will go directly to them.
Please allow us one week to refund all the participants as it is a process to do so.
You should see the money in your accounts by Monday or Tuesday of next week.
Thank you for understanding.
It was not an easy decision for us to make as we have been working on this event for many months.
Please stay safe and we hope to see you very soon.

No matter what your distance of choice is, there is no better way to celebrate the onset of Summer.
Post race head back to the famous Deer Park Tavern to cheers your fellow runners with a cold brew or a signature Summer Solstice cocktail.

Post Race party starts at 8:30am till 11:30am.

There is plenty of parking around Newark.
Across from the Deer Park Tavern is a University of Delaware Parking Garage.
