Description

TATNALL SCHOOL
Our running program at The Tatnall School has been fortunate to have a rich history in running success. Our graduates have gone on to do great things on the track, on the trails, and in life. With the help of many generous donors, we have recently completed a $1 million dollar renovation to our track facility on our campus. We are proud to invite anyone who wants to challenge themselves on this special day, April 9.

THE FOUR MINUTE MILE
The Four minute mile has been regarded as one of the most difficult achievements in sport.  Since Sir Roger Bannister first broke the 4 minute mile in 1954, it has taken 68 years for all but 6 states in the US to break the barrier.  Delaware is one of the final 6 states.  On April 9th, we hope to remove Delaware from this list.  Enter to run a mile and test your limits then stay to cheer on our elite professionals!

HOW DO I ENTER?
Registration for the open sections of the mile are here on RunSignUp for all age groups, with the exception of the Boys and Girls High School Miles.
High school athletes and coaches should kindly register on de.milesplit.com.

Races are split up generally by age group. The masters races are for athletes age 40 and over. The open races are primarily for age 18-39 hoping to run a competitive mile. The Community Mile is for youngsters age 11 and under (who may run on their own or with a parent), as well as those who simply want to be a part of the event and jog/run a mile for fun.
