The United Way Human Race 5K is uniquely designed to allow participants to choose a local nonprofit to support with their fundraising efforts. During registration, participants can select from a list of partnering nonprofits or designate their own, ensuring their contributions go directly to the causes they care about most.

When signing up for the race, you have the flexibility to support the nonprofit that matters most to you. If your chosen nonprofit is not listed, simply select "OTHER" PLEASE WRITE IN during registration and include the name of the nonprofit in the section provided. This ensures your fundraising efforts are directed to your preferred organization, making your impact personal and meaningful.

Here’s how it works: 75% of the funds raised go directly to the selected nonprofit, while 25% supports The Volunteer Center of Randolph County. This 25% helps sustain vital programs like volunteer recruitment, training, and community initiatives that strengthen the impact of nonprofits throughout the region. By participating, you’re not only supporting your chosen nonprofit but also contributing to a stronger network of community service across Randolph County.
