The Silva Strong Superhero 5K Run & Walk benefits the Mendota Community Corporation (MCC), of which Mayor Robert Silva was the founding Chairperson. By helping with a donation while registering for our event, you are assisting in our mission to improve the quality of life of the residents of the City of Mendota, specifically the youth, by supporting the educational, extracurricular activities, and general welfare needs of the community.
The Mendota Community Corporation is a registered 501(c)3, non-profit organization dedicated to serving our community and surrounding areas. Your donations allow us to grow and serve our community through various events, programs, and activities.
What We Do:
- Provide scholarships to students
- Support local youth sports leagues, clubs, and organizations
- Hold and support a variety of community events, including the Annual Earth Day Celebration, Fireworks Show, and Christmas Celebration (to name a few)
