Special Operations | Finding Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting vulnerable children. We fill a critical gap by hiring private investigators to track down missing and exploited youth. Our boots-on-the-ground teams work tirelessly on the streets and online to locate children and gather the evidence law enforcement needs to bring perpetrators to justice.
Beyond rescue, we provide crisis management and aftercare services, helping children and their families heal, recover, and rebuild their lives.

Less than 3% of missing children in California trigger an Amber Alert (Reported in California DOJ report). Most disappear without public awareness. Families are desperate. Law enforcement needs help.
Finding Kids is on the front lines, bringing children home. We deploy boots-on-the-ground private investigators and provide holistic aftercare to children and families.
So far in 2025, Finding Kids has:
- 98.5% of accepted cases resolved
- A median of just 6.5 days to locate missing youth
- 80% of participating youth safe, stable, or thriving and back in school within 12 months
- 18 offenders arrested as a result of information developed through our work
