The Children’s Tumor Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting neurofibromatosis (NF), a disorder that occurs in 1 in every 3,000 births. NF causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to deafness, blindness, disfigurement, bone abnormalities, learning disabilities, disabling pain, and cancer. NF occurs in all populations equally, and there is not yet a cure.
