The Children's Diabetes Foundation is excited to offer our 10th annual Run for the Ring 5K and Kids Fun Run! This event is not only fun for the entire family, but supports vital diabetes care at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes. All proceeds help raise funds for clinical care, diabetes supplies, food insecurity relief, and assisting families in need.

- 80% of Colorado's children with type 1 diabetes are seen at the BDC
- More than 7,500 patients seen each year - BDC clinics accept >700 new patients annually
- 40% of patients at the BDC are under-insured or not insured at all, with 30% of families living at or below the poverty line
About The Children's Diabetes Foundation
The Children’s Diabetes Foundation was established by Barbara and Marvin Davis in 1977 in Denver, Colorado. The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to support the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, where thousands of patients of all ages from all over the world receive the finest diabetes care available.
About The Guild of CDF
The Guild is the volunteer membership group of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation and the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes. Guild members have the unique opportunity to be involved in program and event committees that not only make a difference in the type 1 community, but provide a sense of belonging, fulfillment, and camaraderie within the Guild itself. The Guild, with its more than 300 dedicated members, continues with fundraising efforts in the tireless fight to conquer diabetes. Since its inception in 1979, The Guild has contributed more than $2 million to the Barbara Davis Center.
