Amputee Awareness 5K Walk/Run

  This is a 5K walk/run at Indian Ledge Park in Trumbull Connecticut on April 26, 2025 from 11AM-3PM.  This 5K is to raise money to help amputees during April which is Amputee Awareness month.  This walk/run is in honor of Jessica Eaton who tragically lost her leg a little over two years ago. All of the proceeds will go to the  Kennedy Collective Agency which is an non profit organization there to help individuals, family members of amputees, and other professionals in the subject come together to assist one another in any way.  The Kennedy Collective Agency helps everyone who goes to them connect with the right individuals no matter at what stage of the process each individual or family is in.  The Kennedy Collective Agency helps people remember that you are not alone.  The professionals and community are there and have been put together diligently in order to make sure that there is enough support and resources for everyone so that each person, each family can make informed decisions, find companionate connections, and take action in each and every one of their lives.  Please find it in your hearts to not only join us for the 5K walk/run but please also donate so that we can all be a part of helping someone who's entire world has just completely changed find someway, somehow to move along with us and get through it.  The life of an amputee is not easy, it is hard every second of everyday.  If we can come together to support this cause, we can help make a difference.
