The purpose and primary function of the Clayton Fire Company No. 1, Incorporated shall be to protect and safeguard lives and property by doing all within it's power to provide firefighting and rescue service with the area designated by the Delaware State Fire Prevention Commission as the responsibility of this company, and to also whenever possible provide aid and or assistance to other fire companies, emergency organizations an governmental agencies.
