One hundred percent of the donations made through this page will benefit The Art Center at Johns Creek. The Art Center at Johns Creek, a 5010(3) not-for-profit organization established in 1996 to provide excellence in arts education draws an audience of over 12,000 annually. The Art Center offers more than 225 eight-week visual and clay classes for youth and adults, an extensive summer camp program with 70 one-week art camps for grades k-12, and after-school art enrichment programs at eight local elementary schools. The Center's extensive outreach programs are offered at no cost for underserved youth at The Drake House, and the Title-1 schools, Esther Jackson, Mimosa, and Vickery Mill elementary schools, and scholarships are available. Additionally, they offer a bi-monthly art class for active seniors. Numerous exhibitions are presented at the Center's home site, Emory Johns Creek Hospital, City Hall, and at Ocee Library. The Art Center works to build bridges between the many cultures and ethnicities through art. The Art Center has been recognized by the Georgia Senate, the House of Representatives, Fulton County Commissioners and the Mayor of Johns Creek. In 2024 they received the Governor's Award for the Arts and Humanities.
