Mind Over Miles is a 5K run/walk on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Ada Hayden Heritage Park in Ames — raising funds and awareness for mental health care close to home.

Did you know that some individuals in Story County have to wait up to SIX MONTHS to access outpatient mental health therapy?

Your donation supports Gap to Growth, a program of Creative Counseling Services, a Story County 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to make mental health support more accessible to the people who need it. Mental health is health, and no one should face barriers to getting help in their own community.

Every gift, of any size, stays local and goes directly toward expanding access to care in Story County. Whether or not you join us on race day, your support moves this mission forward.
