2026 D54 Education Foundation Run to Read

Donation Goal: $10,000

The District 54 Education Foundation is committed to supporting students today and preparing students for tomorrow. It does that primarily by providing support to children from financially struggling families.

Proceeds from the event will be used to support programs for financially struggling families in District 54, specifically through the Families in Crisis Fund and the District 54 food pantries. A student cannot be expected to learn if their basic needs are not met. By offering this support to students' families, the D54 Foundation is helping students to be successful at school, thus the name Run to Read.
