The mission of CASA of Southern Kentucky is to provide independent, thorough, and effective advocacy for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or dependency. Through the recruitment, training, and supervision of dedicated community volunteers, we work to ensure that every child within our service area has a voice in court and the opportunity to grow up in a safe, stable, and permanent home.

In 2025, over 600 abused and neglected children in Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell and Wayne Counties were eligible for a CASA advocate. Your donation will allow CASA of Southern Kentucky to continue its work in providing services for child victims of abuse and neglect in our area. CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to ensure that a child’s psychological, physical, educational, and other needs are being met while in the child welfare system. Empowered directly by the courts, these volunteers make recommendations and offer judges the critical information they need to act in the child’s best interest. Volunteers stay with each child until the child’s case is closed and the child is placed in a safe, permanent home. For many abused children, their CASA volunteer will be the only constant adult presence in their lives
