Lexington High School Cross Country / Track & Field Team

Donation Goal: $10,000

The Lexington Legacy 5k run/walk is the primary fundraiser that supports the nearly 300 boys and girls in the Lexington High School Cross Country / Track & Field program as they prepare for three seasons of competition. While no public school Athletic Department does more to support its student-athletes, the Legacy 5k allows the Boosters of Lexington Track-XC (BOLT-XC) to support the kids in the program while creating more opportunities to build community through the sport we love.

Donations to the race will help cover the cost of the necessary training equipment to support our student-athletes across all running, jumping, and throwing events throughout the year. They also allow BOLT-XC to support athletes and coaches as they travel to national championship meets. Additionally, your gift will allow any Cross Country / Track & Field student-athlete who may lack the necessary funds to participate in our sport to obtain whatever they may need to train and compete at all levels.

This event supports our kids, gives back to the local community, and continues our longstanding tradition around Lexington’s Thanksgiving week activities.

Thank you for your support!
