"BJ" Harris Scholarship Fund

Donation Goal: $500

The friends and family of BJ Harris have created a scholarship fund in honor of dear friend, son and brother, BJ Harris, who passed away suddenly in December of 2012 of Glioblastoma Multiforme, the most common and most aggressive malignant primary brain tumor in humans.

To lose someone so tragically and unexpectedly at such a young age can be truly devastating to those left behind. We want to honor his life and what he has meant to so many young people that have crossed his path. We feel there is no better way to carry on BJ’s legacy for years to come.

In starting this scholarship we are hoping to pass on BJ’s passion, drive and determination to a deserving young student going to school and working hard here at the Chesapeake Inn. The scholarship will hopefully give them that extra boost in furthering their education and helping them pursue their goals in life.
