Maxton Gudowski 5K Memorial run/walk

All donations made through this site and all proceeds from race registrations will be donated to Cooper Community Care, a non-profit organization started by teaching staff at Cooper Elementary School in Superior, WI where Maxton went to grade school. A little bit more about Cooper Community Care:

The Cooper Celebration of Giving was founded in 2003, after Cooper teachers saw students come back in January excited about their holiday gifts, and knowing that many of them got nothing due to poverty. Since then, they've made it their mission to ensure that all students have a Happy Holidays.

In 2023, they formed Cooper Community Care corp., a non-profit organization directed by Emily Sharrow, Sandy Archambeau, and Jesse Olson. Their mission is to reduce the impact of poverty on local families and ensure a more equitable education for all children in our community. 

December 2024 marked the 21st anniversary of Cooper Elementary School's Celebration of Giving! Over the past 20 years, they've raised over $91,000 and have made the holidays happier for 1,400 kids in our community. 

The Celebration of Giving gets the entire community involved in donations, shopping, wrapping, and delivering gifts for children in the Spartan Community. We are proud to teach students the values of hard work, compassion, and generosity through the Celebration of Giving.
