Every runner donates a minimum of $10, included in the registration fee. Since 2010 the Kansas City Running Club has donated over $250,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The median life expectancy of someone with CF is now 37 years and we are working to add more years. Thank you for your generosity.
The total given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was over $30,000 last year. Volunteers from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be working several of the aid stations. Kansas City Running Club also provides lunch, dinner and a free race shirt to over 200 volunteers.
Teams and runners may set up a fundraiser page to gather additional contributions. Teams donating $200 or more are considered a “Generous Donor” and qualify for the Most Generous Team Award! Generous Donor Teams earn a 1 minute handicap off their finish time for every $10 donated. That’s right, you can finish before you even start running! All donations go directly to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
