Established in 1981, Helping Hands School is a nonprofit preschool program for children from age two through age five. We provide services to children of all abilities.
The goal of Helping Hands School is to meet the individual needs of a child. We teach each student at their unique developmental level, recognizing various learning styles. Helping Hands maximizes a child’s success by fostering readiness skills to help them meet the expectations of public school. We provide opportunities for children to acquire social, language, literacy and math skills through hands-on experiences and play, as well as direct teaching. Helping Hands recognizes that parents and families are the most important people in the lives of their children and work closely with them throughout their early years.
Helping Hands currently provides special education preschool services to children from Saratoga, Rennselaer, Washington, Warren and Albany counties. We serve students from over 16 school districts.
