This virtual event is meant to inspire wellness, fitness, and healthier lifestyles. On account of the current circumstances we have decided to make our event a virtual challenge. We realize the continued risks associated with gathering and have found a unique way to generate awareness and have everyone connect while achieving their personal goals.

So Run, Walk, and Unite with your sport, with nature, your inner-self, your goals, with the best you that you can be, and then unite with virtually everyone else who is seeking the same!

Missed out on your favorite races, not eligible to run the marathon, pick your virtual challenge. This is your chance to say I did it! Choose from four official race lengths. You will have 29 days to do a 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), half-marathon (13.1 miles), or a marathon (26.2 miles). Register for one, two, three, or all four (miles will be cumulative) and get a medal with a T-shirt for each challenge that you complete.

THE CHALLENGES:

Everyone is encouraged to join and participate! Participants will receive a finisher medal and T-shirt for each individual challenge.

THE COURSE: Choose your own course, whether it be inside on a treadmill or outside on the road. You can run a trail, go around a track numerous times, blaze a path, whatever you choose as long as it is forward motion. You keep the mileage and the time and record it in the Leader-board. The miles can be done all at once or over the period of 29 days.

BIB NUMBERS: Each participant is assigned their own BIB number. If you are signed up for more than one event, then you will have a Bib number for each event. Bibs are downloadable and can be printed, shared, and posted on social media.

MEDALS / T-SHIRTS FOR ALL RUNNERS/WALKERS: All Runners and Walkers will receive a medal for finishing their course. Just remember to record your miles and time in between the dates of October 3rd and November 1st, 2020. Medals will be sent to your specified address, along with T-shirts and are included in the price.

DOGS: Run/Walk with your dog or have them chase you. As long as your pet is allowed where you run, we don’t mind.

STROLLERS: Take your baby for a stroll, have them enjoy the scenery while you accomplish your goal. Again, this is your challenge and also your personal event, as long as you are moving forward why not have fun and company as you reach your goal?

POST: Stay connected on Social Media. Post pictures and captions of yourself as you move along towards your goal! Share your Bib number and download your data, snap pictures of your surroundings and put it all out there for the virtual community to experience.

Q: How frequently should I record my miles?
A: Record your miles each day or at the end of the week. Just remember to keep track and keep adding your mileage. Also be aware not to over-write your mileage from previous run/walks.

Q: Do I have to run or can I walk?
A: you can Run, Walk, or do both. How you get your miles in is up to you.  It's your challenge, as long as you are purposefully moving and logging miles and keeping track of your time it will count.

Q: Do I have to run/walk outside?
A: The challenge can take place inside or outside. You can run or walk on your tread mill, around a track, stroll the block several times, or run/walk on a trail. It is your choice and your challenge.

Q: When do my miles count?
A: Your miles will only count during the 29 day period from Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 (12:00 AM) to Sunday, November 1st, 2020 (11:59). Miles must be logged by November 1st. Any miles that you have done before or after these dates will not count towards the challenge.

A: Yes, you can do multiple runs/walks to achieve your challenge. You will have 29 days to accomplish, if you feel that you can do your challenge in one instance, then feel free to do so and log your mileage with your time to show that it was done all at once.

Q: Can I sign up for more than one challenge?
A: Yes, you can do one, two, three, or all four challenges. You must remember that the miles are all cumulative. For instance, if you sign up for both the 10k (6.2 miles) and the 5k (3.1 miles), you need to do a total of 9.3 miles or a 15k. Each event will also require you to be registered for that challenge. For every challenge that you sign up for you will get a separate Bib number, as well as a separate T-shirt and medal.
