2025 - the 20th Anniversary of the Passion Center for Children! On our Donate Page this year, we intended to give an overview of all ministries that have come to make up the Passion Center these eventful past 20 years. However, we learned of some urgent needs in Malawi and felt led to change the focus of this year’s race. **********Urgent Passion Center Needs**********
Due to extreme weather conditions, several in Passion Center family have lost their houses. The Makupe Family is one of these families. This family of three children, ages 13-20, are in the Child Headed Household (CHH) program at Passion Center. They lost their parents years ago and are being raised by grandparents. The grandparents are elderly and frail and struggle to care for the three children. Being part of the CHH program ensures the kids have their education needs met, receive food and hygiene packets every month, and have an opportunity to hear the word of God.
You can see in the pictures that their current house is uninhabitable. With your help, we would like to rebuild their home, so that this family may return to a safe home and continue focusing on their education and caring for one another.

According to the World Food Program, 4.2 million Malawians (20%) are suffering an Acute Food Insecurity crisis, with that number expected to double by mid-year. We are seeing this in our church and ministry communities and are looking to provide resources to help those in need. $50 will buy a 110 lb. bag of maize.
