The race benefits Teen Recovery Solutions (TRS) in Oklahoma City. TRS is the umbrella organization for Mission Academy High School which is the ONLY sober high school in Oklahoma. TRS provides recovery support for teenagers struggling with substance use along with an after-school alternative peer group that has regular after-school meetings and social events for both students and non-students. TRS meets the students where they are and helps them finish high school, providing opportunities for co-curricular college credit while helping students learn better coping skills and that sobriety can be fun. TRS offers 12-step meetings and activities for the students and provides classes and support to the families to help them better understand teenage addiction and what they can do to help their children.

Sponsorships and donations will directly support and impact Teen Recovery Solutions' programs as well as Mission Academy High School.
