Tulsa Running Club (TRC) formed in 1970 and is a local nonprofit group unaffiliated with any running stores. It's led by a volunteer board. TRC hosts the Von Franken Family Food Run, an annual Thanksgiving Day tradition to draw donations for Salvation Army and Oklahoma Animal Alliance.
The club helps put on St. Patrick's Day Run Tulsa — benefiting Special Olympics Oklahoma and TRC — and coordinates pacers for the Tulsa Run 15K.
