2024 Conquer the Canyon

Our Conquer the Canyon beneficiary is The Ridgeview High School Track and Field Team.

Track Uniforms & Equipment:  Every year we have some implements that we need to replace ranging from aging equipment such as hurdles, starting blocks, javelins, poles for pole vault and updating our computer timing system (yearly) to name a few. Unfortunately replacing track equipment can be quite expensive, especially poles and javelins, and if we have an issue with the timing system. In addition, some uniforms get damaged and need to be replaced or refreshed.  

Student-Athlete Warm-Ups/shoes:  Each season we rely on athlete's families to purchase a hooded sweatshirt so that when we go to a meet we look unified.  Unfortunately, many of our athlete's families cannot afford this item.  We try to keep the cost of a hooded sweatshirt under $30 but this is still out of reach. Ideally in the Central Oregon weather to have a full sweatsuit (top and bottom) would be best but that has never been available in our budget.  In addition, some of these same athletes need good running shoes to eliminate the possibility of injury.  If you can help, any amount of a donation would be helpful.
