The Ashland Railroad Run supports the Hanover Arts and Activities Center in bucolic Ashland, VA. The Center not only sponsors popular events such as The Fourth of July Parade, the biennial Ashland Musical Variety Show, Hanover Idols, The Center Players Youth Theater Programs, The Railroad Run and the Off the Rails Craft Beer Festival, we offer studio and meeting space for artists, musicians, and community groups. The Center’s neoclassical architecture provides a large, open ballroom, soaring windows and ceilings, and an elegant exterior and lawn that provides a perfect backdrop for memorable events.
This year the Hanover Arts and Activities Center is raising money to replace our floors - some of our planks date back to the 1800s! The Town of Ashland will match any donations up to $12,000.
