This year, the proceeds of your generous donations will benefit Serenity House of Clallam County Homeless Shelter in Port Angeles,WA.
Serenity House shelter services are the first stop for homeless families and individuals seeking to get off the street. Shelter operates on three separate levels to tackle different facets of homelessness. These programs are: Beat the Streets (BTS), Night by Night, and Family Shelter services. The Night by Night shelter provides meals, laundry, and lodging to homeless individuals every single night from 8PM-7AM. BTS is an extension of the night by night shelter that provides temporary dormitory-style housing for up to 36 individuals while coaching them into housing and employment readiness. Last, but not least, Family Shelter provides extended shelter to homeless families while they work on employment and other barriers to housing readiness. This program provides essential stabilization to the children of these families so that they can focus on their education from a place of safety. Shelter programs encourage and support the most vulnerable clients in our community as they make contacts with essential community resources to get back on their feet.
