WHEN should I run this?
-> You can run this ANYTIME you desire between August 9 and 31. Many participants will be running on the originally scheduled date/weekend, August 23, but that’s the benefit of a virtual event. Only the RACE is virtual – the RUN is REAL, WHENEVER you choose to do it. Want to run now? That’s fine! Need to wait? That's fine, too.
WHERE should I run this?
-> That is 100% your choice. You can run outside anywhere you'd like or take your miles to the treadmill! If you choose to run outdoors, please take every precaution ordered in your area.
HOW should I run this?
-> Run any way that works for you! If you’re signed up for the 13.1 mile race and your training has been thrown out of whack by recent events, then split it up! Need to walk a mile a day for a couple of days to earn it? Then do that!
How do I report my TIME?
-> Starting August 9, the virtual results submission links for each distance is active. You’ll be able to submit YOUR time through THIS LINK until the end of the month.
Are TIMES verified?
-> No. For the virtual event, times reported are on the ‘honor system’. We do have this event listed in STRAVA and encourage athletes to use the STRAVA app to record their runs there as well.
WILL RESULTS be posted?
-> You bet! As more and more people submit their time, preliminary results will be on the RESULTS page of the website.
Will participants be rewarded based on PERFORMANCE?
No, because participants are running in different locations, times, etc. we will not award anything based on performance.
HOW will I get my SWAG?
-> It will be sent through USPS. If your address in your RunSignUp account is outdated, please update it now. Go to RunSignUp.com Click on "Profile" where you may then edit your personal details. If your address is not in RunSignUp, you may add it now. Likewise, you may email info@ErieHalf.com

WHEN will I get my SWAG?
-> If you do not wish to pick up your at our in-person packet pick up event, swag will be mailed starting August 23.
What if I want to change my DISTANCE?
-> You can do this through your RunSignUp account under “manage my registration” or you can email your request. info@ErieHalf.com
I paid more for the in-person event but see that the virtual event is cheaper.
-> Your registration fee is guaranteed until 12/31/2022. That means, if you wish to transfer out of the Erie event into another event, the fee you paid will go towards the new event. You may also request a voucher worth what you paid to use in the future. IF you decide to stay in the VIRTUAL event and you paid more than $40, you will receive a voucher for the difference of what you paid via email after August 9.
