Dream Run

After an exciting week of exploring the tech ecosystem at Irvine Tech Week, what better way to wind down than a run in the park? Come celebrate Irvine Tech Week at the inaugural Irvine Tech Week 5k! Everyone, from tech week participants to the general public, can participate.

We are excited to host this annual event to benefit the charitable Sunstone Community Fund, which supports a network of universities, nonprofit organizations, and public-private partnerships that develop and implement university-based entrepreneurship programs, early-stage tech accelerators, and advance local economic development through inclusive entrepreneurship and innovation. All proceeds go to the Sunstone Community Fund, directly supporting startup and entrepreneurship in the City of Irvine.

Race shirt, medal, finish line photo, finish line video, and access to the post-race expo area, are included with registration. Register before April 5th, 2024 to guarantee your shirt size!

The FirstGen Color Run celebrates the Irvine Dream. Irvine is the youngest city in California and is home to many first-generation immigrants, transplants from elsewhere in California and the United States and others who believe in the American Dream. Run or walk this 3k fun run - families welcome! - and celebrate the rich tapestry of cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives that contribute to the success of the City of Irvine.

The Standard Package includes a race shirt, medal, finish line photo, finish line video and access to the post-race expo area.

The FirstGen Color Run Startup Package includes all of the items in the Standard Package plus sunglasses and a commemorative headband!

Do not worry if you cannot make this event in person. Feel free to participate anywhere in the world and be apart of this awesome event. You can upload your results for the virtual run starting April 15th through April 20th. This package does not include a race t-shirt or any race swag.
