The Rocky Mountain Half Marathon takes place just outside Rocky Mountain National Park and starts and ends by the lake at the fairgrounds in historic Estes Park, Colorado!

⚠️ Just running each individual race does not qualify you for the Elk Double medal. You need to register for the Elk Double specifically.

This race takes place just outside Rocky Mountain National Park and starts and ends by the lake at the fairgrounds in historic Estes Park, Colorado!

There will be one aid station on the course near the halfway point (mile 1.5). The aid station will have water, Gnarly, and bathrooms. Like the half marathon, this race will be cup-free!

Event: 5K FUN RUN (not timed)
Includes the following events: 5K (timed)
This race takes place just outside Rocky Mountain National Park and starts and ends by the lake at the fairgrounds in historic Estes Park, Colorado! This is the same event as the timed 5K and you’ll get the same shirt and finisher medal, but you won't be timed for the awards.

There will be one aid station on the course near the halfway point (mile 1.5). The aid station will have water, Gnarly, and bathrooms. Like the half marathon, this race will be cup-free!

Join Wander Project and our Charity Bib program to run with us in Estes Park! Raise a minimum of $1,200 to support the community in and around Rocky Mountain National Park and we'll waive your race entry fee.

The Charity Bib program is a serious commitment, so please don’t take this lightly. You will have until 2 weeks prior to the race to raise the funds and become eligible to run. If you are short of meeting your goal and would still like to participate, you'll be charged the remainder of the fundraising commitment. All donations are final.

This year, there will be prizes for the TOP fundraiser at each event. AND, if you are the top fundraiser for the year (this includes charity bibs for all 14 races) you will win a race entry, flight and hotel accommodations for a 2022 half marathon of your choice!
