5K Run/Walk
[November 11 at 11:11am marks the time and date of the signing of the armistice that ended World War I. Originally known as Armistice Day, it is now observed in the United States as Veteran's Day - a day to honor American Veterans of all wars. Join us for the ONLY 5K race actually scheduled ON Veteran's Day and do your part to show support for our women and men in uniform, appropriately held at the beautiful Cecil Greenway on the former Cecil Field Navy Base, featuring a fully tree-lined out-and-back course with the start and finish located near the Cecil Equestrian Center and the future site of the Jacksonville Fairgrounds currently under construction.]
