GET NOTHING 5K #007 - Guilty Conscience 5K

[After you ate too much on Thanksgiving Thursday and spent too much on Black Friday, why not balance all that out with something GOOD ... for your BODY... AND for your WALLET: run or walk a 5K!   But not just ANY 5K - a FREE TIMED 5K.  Burn off some of those calories and spend NOTHING (you also GET NOTHING - other than the satisfaction of participating)!  This is the ONLY local timed 5K race on the last Saturday of November.  But wait, there is more:  you can make it a double-header with another FREE timed 5K - Ed Austin Regional parkrun (not considered a "race" as such, but pretty much the same thing)!  Show up early for parkrun (run starts at 07:30am) near the JaxPAL Building in Ed Austin Regional Park, finish that 5K, and then swiftly head over to the other side near the Monument Skatepark for a 09:09am start for the Guilty Conscience 5K - perfect timing for all paces including walkers, and pretty much in the same place!  Bring the family - they will probably be going stir crazy at home by then anyway!  Of course you don't have to do BOTH, each one is also a stand-alone event.  So no pressure and no guilt - just a good time with friends.  See you in the park!]
