We will meet at 11 AM on Decatur Square, an outdoor public area behind the Historic DeKalb Courthouse (above the MARTA station). Around 11:15 AM, we'll start our Walk, walking a short loop around the heart of downtown Decatur, Georgia. The walk is approximately one mile. The Walk will occur mostly on sidewalks along relatively busy streets. The area is relatively flat with small hills. There may be some stairs. Numerous restaurants are nearby, and the group will likely eat lunch together afterward (optional).

Paid parking is available on the street, in open parking lots, and in covered parking lots throughout downtown Decatur. Some free street parking may be available, but it would be farther from the meeting place and require additional walking. A MARTA subway station serves the area.
