"TRAIL LASSIES" (for women 50 years-and-older) Mondays 5:30 PM with Vicky M and Cathy F

This group is specifically geared toward 50 years-or-older women. Designed for those with some running experience or a base level of fitness, this session introduces sustained effort on trails. Participants should be able to hike The M Trail without needing frequent breaks and jog sections of gentler inclines or flats. The focus is on increasing strength and stamina while learning to navigate moderate trail challenges.

INTERMEDIATE *for women and non-binary only* Mondays 6:00 PM with Gillian W and Liv A

The Intermediate sessions are perfect for runners with solid trail experience looking to take on steeper climbs and longer distances. Participants should be able to run up portions of The M Trail while hiking the steeper sections with minimal breaks. This session emphasizes consistent uphill effort, technical skill development, and pacing strategies for varied terrain.

INTERMEDIATE Thursdays 5:00 AM with Josh P and Clint D

The Intermediate sessions are perfect for runners with solid trail experience looking to take on steeper climbs and longer distances. Participants should be able to run up portions of The M Trail while hiking the steeper sections with minimal breaks. This session emphasizes consistent uphill effort, technical skill development, and pacing strategies for varied terrain.

ADVANCED Thursdays 6:00 PM with Greg E and Scott D

The Advanced sessions are designed for seasoned trail runners ready to tackle steep ascents and technical trails at a strong pace. Participants should be able to run all the switchbacks on The M Trail without stopping. This session is great for those runners looking to focus on working on advanced trail techniques, sustained uphill running, and preparing for challenging race conditions or strenuous trail adventures. *Note: These session typically last for around an hour and a half, slightly longer than our other sessions!

NOVICE Tuesdays 6:00 PM with Michael J and Ashley M

The Novice sessions are for those who are new to trail running or building their fitness for trails. Participants should be comfortable hiking The M Trail at a relaxed pace, taking breaks as needed on the switchbacks. The focus is on building endurance, becoming familiar with trail terrain, and enjoying the outdoors. Expect a mix of hiking and very light jogging on easier stretches.
