Description
Come together to raise money for racial justice and global human rights and help educate our youth by taking part in the inaugural Say Their Names 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and EmbraceRace not-profit organizations.
Complete the 5K or 1-mile run/walk in your local area anytime between July 24-26, 2020. After your run or walk, if desired, upload your results to see how you compare against other participants. Also, post on social media using the hashtag #saytheirnames and share your accomplishment with your friends!
Say Their Name 5K run and 1 mile run/walk includes:
- registration for the virtual 5K or 1 Mile Run/Walk
- donation to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and Embrace Race, not-profit organizations
- short-sleeve soft, comfortable and compelling unisex t-shirt

The National Center for Civil and Human rights is an engaging cultural attraction located in downtown Atlanta that connects the American Civil Rights Movement to today’s struggle for Global Human Rights.
EmbraceRace, fights systemic racism by supporting parents to raise children who are brave, informed, and thoughtful about race. They identify, organize, and, as needed, create the tools, resources, discussion spaces, and networks needed to nurture empathetic children who think critically about racial inequity.
