Description
Join us for an island run through historic Boca Grande. Start your run at the Boca Grande Community Center (on the National Register of Historic Places), see beautiful views of Charlotte Harbor, pass the famous Gasparilla Inn, along scenic Gilchrist Avenue (lined with palm trees) and finishes on Banyan Street (named for the very large trees that line both sides of the street).
Refreshments will be available during the post-race activities at the Community Center.

6:30 – 7:30 a.m. (Packet Pick-up ONLY Day-of Event)
No refund of race entries. Please note that Gasparilla Island is accessed by a toll bridge. $$
Age Divisions & Awards
Awards will be given to the first, second and third place male and female winners in each age division: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. Special awards will be given for the male & female overall, master (40+), grandmaster (50+), senior grandmaster (60+), and veteran master (70+).
Raffles from local businesses and possibly food trucks.
SHIRTS
Shirts will be given to all participants who register early while supplies last.

Race Proceeds:
This event will be a Fire department fundraiser through the Firefighters Association.
Firefighter Challenge Coins
The First 200 registered will receive a Firefighter Challenge Coin.
Firefighting is a highly skilled profession and takes a special kind of courage to battle smoke, gas and flames on a daily basis.
We want to share this unique coin with you. Register day to receive your coin.

Exit at River Road (#191) turn right and head south, turn left onto Pine Street, crossover McCall Road, Pine Street turns into Placida Road (S.R. #775), turn right at the sign for Boca Grande (Boca Grande Causeway), go through first and second stop signs. The facility is located on left at the third stop sign (corner of Park Avenue and First Street).
NORTHBOUND I-75
Exit at King’s Hwy. (#170 )and turn left and head west, turn right onto Veteran’s Blvd. (S.R. #776), turn left onto Gasparilla Road (S.R. #771), turn left at the sign for Boca Grande (Boca Grande Causeway), go through first and second stop signs. The facility is located on left at the third stop sign (corner of Park Avenue and First Street).
