We’re excited to welcome you to the Run Your Mouth 5K! Below you’ll find everything you need to know for race day, including parking, shuttles, course details, and race rules to help keep everyone safe and moving.
📍 Event Overview
Date: January 10, 2026 @ 7:30AM
Race Distance: 3.1 miles (5K)
Start Location: Cooper City City Hall
Finish Line, Post-Race Celebration & Awards: Davie Woman’s Club
(Across the street from parking and registration)
⏰ Race Day Schedule
6:00 AM – Parking opens, check-in & packet pickup begin
6:00 AM – Shuttle service begins to the start line
7:25 AM – Packet pickup closes
7:30 AM – Race start (mass start)
8:30–8:45 AM – Awards ceremony & post-race celebration
👉 We recommend arriving at least 40 minutes early.

Primary Parking Location: Old Davie Schoolhouse
Check-in & Packet Pickup Location: Old Davie Schoolhouse (registration tent)
Finish Line, Post-Race Celebration & Awards: Davie Woman’s Club
Shuttle Service to Start Line: Beginning at 6:00 AM
Runners park once, shuttle to the start, and run back to where they parked
🚧 Road Closures & Traffic Notes
Expect traffic rerouting and lane closures along: University Drive & Griffin Road, Pine Island Road & Griffin Road and portions of Griffin Road near Cooper City City Hall
Please follow all posted signage and directions from volunteers and law enforcement
🚦 Race Rules & Etiquette
Follow all instructions from race officials, volunteers, and law enforcement
Stay on the marked course
Slower runners and walkers should keep to the right
Bib must be visible on the front of your shirt
Strollers: Allowed
Dogs: Allowed (must be leashed and runner-controlled)
Bikes, skates, scooters: Not permitted

Start Type: Mass start
Results: Posted after the race and shared via email and social media

Ceremony & Pickup: Held at the Davie Woman’s Club during the post-race celebration
Top 3 Male & Female Categories receive trophies - Must be present to win
All other participants will receive finisher medals

This year, the race will raise funds for the Davie Woman’s Club and the Cooper City Autism Friendly Community initiative — supporting local outreach, small businesses, and the people who make both cities feel like home.

FAQ
Yes, there will be race day registration at the Davie Womans Club.
Parking will be at the Old Davie School Museum located at 6650 Griffin Rd. We will provide shuttles to take the participants from the parking lot, to the starting line. The race will end at the Davie Womans Club, which is across the street from the parking lot.
Starting line will be at the Cooper City City Hall and the finish line will be at the Davie Womans Club.
Yes, headphones are allowed during the race, and being an open course, non noise cancelling headphones are recommended.
There will be restrooms at the starting and finish lines.
Yes! There will be a hydration station at the midpoint, brought to us by the Davie/CooperCity Branch Library.
Absolutely! We're going to have amazing swag, including a high quality shirt that you'll want to wear all the time and a very Insta ready medal!
