Description
The FFC 5K Miles for Smiles is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of community! Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to join us for a day of fun, fitness, and philanthropy. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-time walker, your participation will help make a difference in the lives of foster youth in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.
You don’t have to run to be part of the fun! The event is open to the entire community, so bring your family and friends to spend the day with us. There will be food, entertainment, and plenty of ways to get involved, all in support of foster children in our community.
Race Information
- The race starts at 8:00 am
- Check-in between 7:30 am and 7:50 am
- Runners under 5 years old run for FREE
- For runners between 6 and 11 years old their ticket price is $15
- Runners over 12 pay full price.

Race Day Registration Hours:
- Packet pickup starts at 7:30 am and ends at 7:50 am.

- FFC office located at 2265 Lee Rd, Suite 203, Winter Park, FL 32789. Monday-Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.

How do I get to Gemini Springs Park?
Gemini Springs Park is located at 37 Dirksen Drive, DeBary, FL 32713
– Enter Gemini Springs Park from Dirksen Drive.
– Turn right at the first stop sign and park in the West Parking loop.
– You can find FFC 5K check-in/bib pick-up and start/finish at O.K. Corral shelter.
– Follow park signs for East Parking if West Parking is full.
– Restrooms are located on the opposite side of West Parking than O.K. Corral – beyond the playground.

Course Information
What is the course like?
The 5K course is a paved, out-and-back route, covering a distance of 3.1 miles. This course is designed to be smooth and enjoyable, providing a safe environment for both runners and walkers!
Will the race be timed?
Yes, each participant will receive a race bib with a built-in timing chip. This chip ensures accurate tracking of your race time. Please wear your bib on the front of your shirt or shorts so the timing chip can be easily read. Make sure you do not cover it!

Race package
When and where Can I pick up my race package?
- Race packages will be available for pickup at the FFC office located at 2265 Lee Rd, Suite 203, Winter Park, FL. You are welcome to stop by our office Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4:30 pm starting Monday, December 2nd to Friday, December 13th
- If you are not able to pick up your package within these two weeks, you can pick it up the day of the race
- Day-off Pickup: Saturday, December 14th - Packet pickup starts at 7:00 am and ends at 7:45 am
Can I pick up someone else's race package?
Yes! You can pick up race packages on behalf of your friends and family. You just need to provide first and last name and bib number.
