Step outside of your comfort zone and take on a new challenge in the Deerfield Dash (Virtual 50K)!
Each Registration helps support the Boys and Girls Club - Jim and Jan Moran Unit of Deerfield Beach.
Be sure to Pace yourself as a 50K is a long journey. Please note that this can be completed ANYTIME & ANYWHERE.
This 50K is a Cumulative effort, meaning you can strive towards this goal at your own pace. Be sure to listen to your body and practice proper social distancing while striving towards the finish line.
This is not a Timed Race, simply work on Going the Distance throughout the entirety of the event (June 1st through June 21st) We look forward to seeing you at the finish line and seeing your progress along the way!

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL EVENT? A virtual event is a walking/running event that you can complete anytime/anyplace with the goal in mind of creating a healthy habit and staying habit during these challenging times. From the dates of June 1st to June 21st you can work towards achieving the impressive feat of walking/running a 50K anywhere you like.
WHERE DO I RUN? It's up to you - you can choose your own course around your neighborhood or even run on a treadmill. Follow CDC Guidelines with respect to social distancing.
CAN I SPLIT UP THE DISTANCE? Absolutely!! Our goal is to have a community of runners commit to a grand total of 50K by the date of June 21st. We strongly suggest working towards the 50K by splitting up your distance into multiple runs or walks. Whatever works best for you!
HOW DO YOU SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS? You can submit your virtual results directly from the results tab HERE. An easy way to track your daily workouts can be done through the Strava App. Join the Strava Deerfield Dash Club for some friendly competition with others along the way!
