We regret to announce that the Run The Runway 5K has been rescheduled from November 16th, 2024 to November 15th, 2025. This decision was made due to an unexpected delay in securing FAA clearances, which was entirely outside of our control.
Obtaining approvals from the FAA is a long and complex process involving many private and government entities, and unfortunately one of these parties did not meet the requirements for our timeline.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support. If the new date doesn’t work for you, please feel free to reach out for a refund. Thank you for being a part of our growing Run The Runway community, and we look forward to seeing you in 2025!

This one-of-a-kind race is unlike any other! You will have the ability to go where few have gone before and run on active runways at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport! This race is being hosted by the Southern Timing Foundation, Inc.
Race Details
The 3rd Annual Run The Runway 5K will take place on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport starting at 7:30am! This one-of-a-kind race will have you starting, running & finishing on an actual runway! There is a 25% discount for participants 17 & Under, this discount is automatically applied during registration.
Shirts, Medals & More!
All participants will receive a commemorative finisher medal, race shirt, bag filled with supplies from our sponsors!
Timing
This race will be Chip Timed by Southern Timing, LLC. All participants will receive an individual results page complete with your results, pace breakdown, finisher certificate and a 20 second video of you crossing the start & finish line!

Top 3 Male & Female Masters
Top 3 in Each Age Group:
10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
