Join aviation enthusiasts from across the country in granting wishes for children diagnosed with critical illnesses through the Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida foundation by participating in Sheltair’s 2nd Annual 5k Virtual Run - Sheltair Holiday Hustle.
The Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida foundation grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. According to the foundation, wishes are far more than gifts or singular events in time. They impact everyone involved – wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals, and communities. The wishes granted to the children create strength, hope, and courage to comply with medical treatments.
Sheltair is passionate about supporting and giving back to the communities in which we operate. The proceeds from the run will be donated to Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida which will assist in providing wishes across the country.
What a great way to relieve stress during the holidays, run/walk in your neighborhood, your favorite trail, at home (on a treadmill), or wherever you’re most comfortable with.
Runners will …
· have the opportunity to complete their 3.1-mile run/walk by December 24th.
· record their own time and log it on the registration site.
· receive a long sleeve Sheltair Holiday Hustle 5k run t-shirt* and lapel pin.
· receive a custom printable Bib.
Join the fun by taking pictures and posting them on Sheltair’s social media by tagging our account (Sheltair) and by using #runwithSheltair or #makeawishsouthernflorida. We look forward to seeing all of your great photos.
