Description
Join us on Monday May 26 at 8:00 a.m. for the Deerwood Superfun Kids Run followed by the Annual Don Davis Memorial 5k run/walk at 8:30 a.m. Early Registration into the 5k Race is $15.00, and $10.00 for the kid’s run, late registration is $20 for the 5k and $15 for the kids run while day of race entry is $25 and $20. An additional processing fee will apply to all online registrations. This entry price includes registration, race numbers, professional chip timing, and awards for our 1st– 3rd place finishers. All children entered into race will also receive a medal!

Day of Race Schedule
6:45 to 8:00 AM - Day of Race Registration Open at the Deerwood Fitness Center
6:45 to 8:15 AM - Race Bib and Chip Pickup Open at the Deerwood Fitness Center
All runners must wear their race bib and timing chips must be worn during the race to be timed. Chips are to be worn on your shoe only. Chips not attached to the shoe will not read. All runners are responsible for returning their timing chips upon completion of the run at the finish line. Missing chips will be billed to the assigned runner at a cost of $30.00 per chip.
Race Location
The race will start and finish at the Deerwood Country Club Fitness Center, next to the Golf Clubhouse. Access to the Deerwood Community is available through the Southside Boulevard Entrance as well as the Baymeadows Road Entrance.
Race Course
The race course runs through the beautiful shaded streets of the Deerwood Community. The start and finish lines are both located at the clubhouse. Directions will be available to the clubhouse from the check gates off of either Baymeadows Road or Southside Boulevard.

Chip Timing
The race will be chip timed using an shoe chip system. Chips will be distributed at the packet pickup. All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their shoe to score in the race. Chips must be returned at the conclusion of the race at the finish line. Runners not returning chips will be charged a fee of $30.
