Description
Join us on Friday, July 4th at 8:00 a.m. for the Deerwood Superfun Kids Run followed by the Annual Deerwood Firecracker 5k run/walk at 8:30 a.m. Early Registration through 6/19/14 into the 5k Race is $15.00, and $10.00 for the kid’s run, late registration is $20 for the 5k and $15 for the kids run while day of race entry is $25 and $20. An additional processing fee will apply to all online registrations. This entry price includes registration, race numbers, professional chip timing, and awards for our 1st– 3rd place finishers. All children entered into race will also receive a medal!

Chip Timing
The race will be chip timed using an shoe chip system. Chips will be distributed at the packet pickup. All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their shoe to score in the race. Chips must be returned at the conclusion of the race at the finish line. Runners not returning chips will be charged a fee of $30.

Race Course
The race course runs through the beautiful shaded streets of the Deerwood Community. The start and finish lines are both located at the clubhouse. Directions will be available to the clubhouse from the check gates off of either Baymeadows Road or Southside Boulevard.
