First Coast Games 5k Run/Walk

This year’s FCG 5K will be held start and finish at the Winston Family YMCA. Invite your family and friends to join you for the run or bring them along for support and family fun. All First Coast Games participants and new potential partners are invited to attend and participate. The race is FREE to all FCG participants and $20/$25  for family and friends over 15 years of age. Children 14 and under are $10.

This event is one of the last for the 2025 Games, so come out and help your team finish strong!!! Medals will be given by Male/Female and Age Group at the end of the 5K.

FINISHER MEDALS for all participants.

 

Event parking at the Winston YMCA will be extremely limited.  Please use the Haskell parking lot for this 5K event.  111 Riverside Ave.

First Coast Games Participants

The race is FREE to all First Coast Games participants registering prior to 6:00pm on June 13th with a valid discount code entered during the checkout process.

Runners not registered in the First Coast Games can still register for the 5K;   15 years and older, can register and participate for $20.00 (plus online registration processing fees by Run Sign Up) through May 31st, then prices increase to $25 till online registration closes.   First Coast Games participant family members who are 14 years and under are $10 when pre-registering online.

Day of race registration is available as well for $35.00 per participant regardless of age.    Discount codes and free entries are not allowed for those registering the day of the race.   If using a code or a free entry, you must register by 6:00pm on June 13th or prior.

 

First Coast Games Participants With A Valid Code

If you are a participant of the First Coast Games AND register online on June 13th or sooner AND have a valid coupon code for a free entry you will receive a free entry into the race.   To receive the free entry, please your valid coupon code ON THE CHECKOUT SCREEN at the END of the registration process in the box marked COUPON CODE.   Registration will display at $20.00/$25.00 until this code is entered.  Once entered the price will change to $0.00.   FREE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON RACE DAY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

Day Of Race Event Schedule

6:15- 7:15 am Day of Registration & Bib Pickup

7:30am - 5K Run/Walk Begins 

8:45am - Awards & Closing Ceremony

*No pre-race packet pickup.  All bibs will be picked up at check-in on Saturday morning. There is not a race shirt but there are Finisher Medals for all.

*We will have refillable water coolers on site but no plastic bottles this year. I would like to encourage the runners to bring their own sustainable bottle to refill after the race, if needed.

 

This will be a Loop using both the Jacksonville Northbank Riverwalk, the  Fuller Warrenshared use path, and the Acosta Bridge pedestrian walkway.

The race will be chip timed using a bib chip system.   Chips will be distributed at the packet pickup.   All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their shirt to score in the race.  Chips will NOT have to be returned at the conclusion of the race at the finish line.   

For Scoring purposes:

Over All Awards will be based off GUN TIMES.

Age group awards will be based off of your individual CHIP TIME.

Race times and dates are subject to change without notice at any time for any reason. In the event the race time or date is changed or if the race is cancelled, for any reason, there will not be any refunds under any circumstances.   Race entries can not be transferred to other participants or other races in the event a participant can not attend.   Once the race registration is made, the transaction if final.    In the event of bad weather every effort will be made to conduct the race, however it may be moved to an alternate date, time, or cancelled within hours of the starting time. Please be sure to check the PRS Race Timing website and Facebook page for updates prior to departing to the race for any last minute changes or instructions.   Registration by the participant constitutes agreement to the above.
