The Healing Hearts Project

The Healing Hearts Project (THHP) is a non-profit that serves patients and families affected by Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), the most common type of birth defect affecting 1 in every 100 babies born. The mission of THHP is to provide ongoing support and services to families and patients as they face the challenges of congenital heart defects. Our goal is to be a relatable source for both patients and caregivers coping with CHD by providing care packs, essentials during hospital stays, educational opportunities for caregivers, mental health coverage, a support group to connect with other families facing the same challenges, and more. THHP currently supports over 480 heart families and has more than 30 dedicated volunteers that log thousands of hours per year as they support families through The Terry Heart Center at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Pediatric Cardiology in Jacksonville, Florida. 9:15 a.m. - 5K Awards Ceremony

10:00 a.m. - 1 M Walk Start

1:00 p.m. - Festival Area Closes

Shirt sizes are guaranteed to all participants pre-registered by March 15, 2024. 

Packets will be available for pickup on the morning of the event. 

 

OVERALL AWARDS

Overall Awards will be presented as follows:

Men - 1st Place, ,  2nd Place , 3rd Place
Women - 1st Place, ,  2nd Place , 3rd Place

MASTERS (Over 40)

Masters Awards will be presented to the top finishers 40 years or older as follows:

Men - 1st Place
Women - 1st Place 

AGE GROUPS - 10 YEAR INTERVALS

Age group awards will be presented to the top three men and the top three women in the following age groups:
0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 Plus

Runners will only receive one award:  overall, masters, or an age group award. Overall Awards will be based off Gun Time / Age group awards based off Chip Time.

BECOME A FUNDRAISER:

 Raise $200 and walk for free + earn a team name sign on the course!

Raise $500 or more gets the "big head" of their choice!!

The team that raises the most money by 9pm the day before the event will be recognized as the GRAND MARSHAL for the event.

The team with the most participants registered gets a prize on race day!
