Description
The Second Annual Back 9 5k is open to members of Timuquana Country Club, the Florida Yacht Club, and their guests. There is a 1 Mile Fun Run at 6:00pm followed by a 5k Run at 6:30pm. The 5k run will be professionally timed by PRS Race Timing. In addition there will 5 year age group awards, three deep in each group plus awards to the overall top three runners in each gender and the top three masters (over 40) in each gender.
Registration Costs
Registration costs are listed below. An additional surcharge will be added to all online transactions.
Back 9 - 5km Run - $30.00 18 & Over - $20.00 17 & Under - Through 8/14/14
Back 9 - 5km Run - $40.00 18 & Over - $30.00 17 & Under - Day of race. Registration will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the race.
1 Mile Fun Run - FREE! - Registration will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the race.
Packet Pickup & Race Instructions
Runners will pick up their bib and timing chip prior to the race at the check in area between 4:30pm and 6:00pm for the 5km Run and between 4:30pm and 5:30pm for the 1 Mile Fun Run on Friday 8/15 at the Timuquana Country Club Clubhouse.

Runners will receive a custom shirt along with other fun goodies.
Race Awards
Awards will be given to the top three males and females in the following categories,
Top 3 Male & Female Overall Finishers
Top 3 Male & Female Masters (Over 40) Finisher
Top Three finishers in each of the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
Race Course
The race course starts and finishes on the Timuquana Country Club Clubhouse Lawn by the St. Johns River and then traverses the back 9 holes of the Timuquana Country Club golf course.

Chip Timing
The race will be chip timed using a shoe chip system. Chips will be distributed at the packet pickup. All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their shoe to score in the race. Chips must be returned at the conclusion of the race at the finish line. Runners not returning chips will be charged a fee of $30.
