The Shelter Pet Shuffle Medal!
Dress yourself and your pets in your best holiday attire and come pound the pavement for The Pixel Fund* Animal Rescue! There will be a 5K Fun Run/Walk, a Virtual Race option for those who can't join us that day, and 1-mile Doggie Dash after the 5K is completed.
Immediately following the event, stay to meet some of our fabulous Pixel Pets as we showcase their awesomeness with an adoption event at the start/finish line! You could take home your new best friend that very same day! Sign up to volunteer or become the next Pixel foster parent as well!
*The Pixel Fund, part of Pixel’s Posse, a 501(c)(3), was established to raise needed funds to support rescue and advocacy groups with “paws on the ground” in places like Macon, Mobile, in our original home state of Maine and now in Florida. To save lives, we work to reduce shelter admissions by addressing the issues that cause people to give up their pets, support low and no-cost spay and neuter clinics, and encourage reform of the shelter system. The Pixel Fund’s mission, plain and simple, is to save lives that would otherwise be lost to the shelter system.
