Ultra Ultras Turkey Trot 5k

*this is an easy 5k on a paved path with small section of grass. Not a trail race!

Ultra Ultras is excited to bring you this Turkey Trot 5k and kids fun run in Lake Wales Nov 28th 2024 @ 8am! @ Lake Wailes park 
After your run enjoy pumpkin pancakes with us and your friends, family, and everyone else up early to run on Thanksgiving Day!
This is a Fun-Run so come in your fastest running outfit or in full Turkey Costume!

Shirt sizes guaranteed if registered by Nov 7th! 

DONATIONS:
A portion of each race fee will be donated Lake Wales Charter Schools Cross Country programs!  

FOOD:
Hot grilled PUMPKIN PANCAKES for all participants after the race! Starting about 8:30am! There will also be bananas and some other snacks! 

RACE ENTRY FEES 
$40 until race day / $45 on race day 
Students 18 & Under $25.00

Wed Nov 27th 4-7pm @ Lake Wailes Park 198 N Lakeshore Blvd, Lake Wales 
Thur Nov 28th 6:30-7:45am @ race start area

Top Overall Male & Female
Top Overall Male & Female Masters (over 40+ years of age)
Top Overall Male & Female Grand Master (over 50+ years of age)
Top 3 in Age Groups -- 9 & under; 10-18, 19-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
You can not win Overall and Age Group!

FREE KID’S RUN 9:15 a.m. (time is approximate) - For kids 9 & under
We will divide the kids into 2 to 3 year age groups depending on the number of kids running.
Race distance will be between 20yards & 400yards depending on age.
NO SHIRTS GIVEN FOR THIS EVENT
All kids receive a Winning Ribbon!

TIMING & SCORING
Race will be timed and scored by FITNICHE timing with a disposable chip which will be attached to the back of the bib.
