Wild Watermelon 3k presented by The Florida Watermelon Association

Brevard Zoo's inaugural Wild Watermelon 3k is a family-friendly event and great way to kick off your summer!
Runners and walkers of all ages will traverse a course through the Zoo passing animals, their habitats and native plants along the way.

The event features a post-race watermelon feast, with slices of fresh, chilled watermelon courtesy of our presenting partner, the Florida Watermelon Association!
The run is set for a 7:30 a.m. start on June 21, 2025.

Explore the Zoo after the race and watch the animals enjoy watermelon too! Registered runners get 50% off admission or $10 off a membership on race day by showing their race bib at the administrative office. Offer valid for the runner only.

A water/Gatorade station is along the route and at our start and finish line areas.
Prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 overall male and female finishers, and ALL finishers will receive a beautiful watermelon-themed medal and commemorative running hat.
Race shirts will be available for purchase for $20 each online prior to the event.
This race is limited to just 1,000 athletes. Register today before it sells out.
