Event Description: Join us for the 8th Annual Hair Peace & Hope 5K Run/Walk, a vibrant and uplifting gathering. Whether you run or walk, our certified course at Miramar Regional Park awaits. This transformative event is a heartfelt celebration of individuals battling autoimmune diseases, remembering those we've lost, and a drive to raise funds for hair prostheses (wigs) for those experiencing hair loss due to autoimmune conditions and other pressing needs. Recognizing the far-reaching impact of autoimmune diseases beyond hair loss, Women of H.O.P.E. remains dedicated to providing support and resources to those in need. If you or someone you know is facing the challenges of an autoimmune disease, Women of H.O.P.E. is here to lend a hand.
Bring your entire family, as we have an array of giveaways for everyone to enjoy. Race t-shirts and finisher medals are guaranteed for the first 300 registrants, with shirt sizes allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and not guaranteed.

Women of H.O.P.E. (Health Occupation Promoting Education) and Hair Peace and Hope 5k
The Women of H.O.P.E. (Health Occupations Promoting Education) organization is excited to announce its seventh annual HAIR PEACE & HOPE 5K RUN/WALK at the Miramar Regional Park on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 7 am. This event aims to raise awareness and support for individuals with autoimmune diseases, often resulting in devastating hair loss.
This life-changing event celebrates the lives of those currently battling autoimmune diseases, a remembrance of loved ones lost, and an opportunity to raise funds for hair prostheses (wigs) for women and men experiencing hair loss due to autoimmune diseases and other areas of need.
Participants of all ages, including walkers, runners, joggers, and rollers (baby strollers and wheelchairs), are invited to join the event. Even if you cannot participate in the race, you can still show your support for this great cause and have a good time doing so!
Sponsorship opportunities are available, and your support will enable Women of H.O.P.E. to further their commitment to individuals and families in the community affected by autoimmune diseases. The HAIR PEACE & HOPE 5K is also a fantastic platform for corporate team-building experiences, and Women of H.O.P.E. looks forward to collaborating with you.
Vendor opportunities are also available for established, local businesses or passing through. Don't miss the chance to exhibit your products at the Hair Peace & Hope Run/Walk.
