The 2016 Run For the Heroes Virtual 5k, is in its fourth year, is pleased to offer this virtual 5km run to bring together friends, families, and supporters together as we work to raise money to support the youngest Survivors of military tragedy, the Children. This virtual run allows you to run anywhere, anytime, and be part of a worldwide 5k run

Friends Never Forget Mission
Through donations and fundraising, Friends Never Forget Inc. a 501c3 Non-profit sponsors children of our fallen Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen to summer camps throughout the United States, any camp anywhere, to include cost of camp, travel to and from camp, lodging and meals. This allows no out of pocket expense for the parents or guardians of these children.

Virtual Race
This race is a virtual race only. Participants may complete a 5k run on your own time between April 1 and April 30, 2015, anywhere on earth, and then report your time at http://www.prsracetiming.com/virtual-race-results.html All virtual partipants that report their time will have their time listed on the PRS Race Timing Results Page by May 6, 2016. The deadline to report times will be April 30, 2016.
Virtual participants will receive the same shirt and goodie bag as if they participated in an actual 5k race. Shirts and goodie bags will be mailed within two weeks of May 9th.
Registration Costs
Registration is open through April 30, 2015. Registration is $30.00 at all times.
Race Amenities
T Shirts and dog tags will be given to all participants commemorating the event.
Fundraising
Help support Friends Never Forget by becoming a fundraiser while participating in the Run For Heroes virtual 5k. Fundraisers can participate individually or as part of a fundraising team. Click Donate on the menu on the left, then select Become a Fundraiser. Fundraisers will have their own unique page to share with friends and family.
